Description

The Flirting With Disaster tribute tee is the butterfly one: a halo-crowned butterfly, chrome on one wing and dripping hot pink on the other, over the Los Angeles skyline under the CRAZYTOWNX wordmark, with “Flirting with Disaster” in script and the years 1974 to 2024 beneath it. The butterfly is the obvious nod to the song that made Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer famous, and the dates make it a memorial.

It is an official KrushKill Records release, printed direct to garment on a soft unisex staple tee in sizes XS to 5XL. Fans wear it to shows, to memorial meetups and just to keep Shifty’s name out in the world. It is sold only here, by the label he co-founded.

Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer (August 23, 1974 to June 24, 2024) fronted the band from the Los Angeles underground to a worldwide number one with “Butterfly” and kept writing and touring until early 2024. KrushKill Records is the independent label he co-founded with Mark White, which makes this the official source rather than a marketplace reseller. Flirting With Disaster Tribute Tee FAQ

What is Flirting With Disaster?

It is the final Crazy Town X release: three songs, Cake, Trigger Happy and 99 Bottles, recorded by Shifty Shellshock in the months before he passed and released on Valentine’s Day 2024 by KrushKill Records.

What do the dates 1974 to 2024 mean?

They are Shifty’s birth and death years. Seth Binzer was born August 23, 1974 in Los Angeles and died June 24, 2024 at 49.

Is this an official Crazy Town X shirt?

Yes. It is sold by KrushKill Records, the independent label Shifty co-founded with Mark White, using the record’s own artwork.

What sizes does it come in?

Unisex sizes XS through 5XL. It runs true to size with a standard cut; there is a size chart on this page. If you are between sizes or want a looser fit, go one size up.

How is it printed and how do I wash it?

The graphic is printed direct to garment (DTG) on a soft unisex staple tee, so it does not have the plastic feel of a heat transfer. Wash inside out on cold, tumble dry low or hang dry, and it will hold up for years of shows.

How long does shipping take?

The tribute tee is printed to order in the USA and usually ships within 2 to 5 business days, then 3 to 7 days in transit for US orders. You get a tracking number by email. International shipping is calculated at checkout.

How is it different from the tracklist tee?

This one is the halo butterfly over the LA skyline with the dates. The 99 Bottles / Cake / Trigger Happy tee is the LA-cap skull with the three song titles.

Beautiful tribute shirt. The 1974-2024 design is tasteful and honors the legacy perfectly. Wore it to a memorial event and it meant a lot. Quality is top tier.

  2. Kevin P. –

Got this as soon as it dropped. The tribute design hits hard — so much history in those years. Shirt itself is thick, comfortable, and well-made.

  3. Amanda J. –

Really nice memorial piece. Fits well and the print is high quality. Shipping took a bit longer than expected but worth the wait.

  4. Terrence B. –

This is more than just a t-shirt, it’s a piece of music history. RIP Shifty. The design is clean and respectful. Proud to wear it.

  5. Heather M. –

Ordered two — one to wear and one to keep. The tribute artwork is perfect. Great quality cotton and the sizing chart was accurate.
