Description
This is the Crazy Town X CD: Flirting With Disaster, the final release from the band and the last recording Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer made before he passed in June 2024. Three tracks, “Cake,” “Trigger Happy” and “99 Bottles,” cut in the months before his death and released on Valentine’s Day 2024 under the CrazyTownX name through KrushKill Records.
It is a factory-pressed disc in a standard jewel case with the full-color cover art, sold only through the label’s own store. With 30 verified reviews averaging 4.8 out of 5, it is the most-ordered item on the site and the physical copy fans keep on the shelf next to the Columbia-era albums. A limited 7″ red vinyl pressing of the same three songs is now on pre-order.
Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer (August 23, 1974 to June 24, 2024) fronted the band from the Los Angeles underground to a worldwide number one with “Butterfly” and kept writing and touring until early 2024. KrushKill Records is the independent label he co-founded with Mark White, which makes this the official source rather than a marketplace reseller. Trigger Happy hits so hard. Shifty really left everything on the table with this one. As a day-one Crazy Town fan since the Butterfly days, hearing these final tracks is bittersweet but I’m grateful they exist. The CD quality is crisp and the limited edition packaging is really well done.

A very true, inspirational and, now, a swansong of an EP. Been a fan since 2000 and will probably continue to be one. Farewell, Seth. May you rest in peace. Will surely miss you.

Really nice quality CD. Packaging is clean and professional. All three songs are good but I think 99 Bottles edges out the other two for me. Wish the EP was longer but what we got is great.
