Description
This is the only Crazy Town X vinyl: a single pressing of Flirting With Disaster, the final Crazy Town X release and the last recording Shifty Shellshock ever made. The band cut “99 Bottles,” “Cake” and “Trigger Happy” in the months before Seth’s death on June 24, 2024, and released them on Valentine’s Day 2024 under the CrazyTownX name through KrushKill Records, the independent label Seth co-founded with Mark White. It came out digitally and on a limited CD. It has never been on vinyl until now.
We pressed 100 copies on 7″ translucent red vinyl with a full-color jacket, the CrazyTownX chrome logo on the front and the tracklist on the back. When these 100 are gone there is no second pressing planned, and it’s sold only here, on the label’s own store.
Pre-order: ships December 10, 2026
The pressing plant delivers the finished records to us on December 9, 2026, and every pre-order goes out the next day, December 10, 2026, with USPS tracking emailed to you. If the plant’s date moves, we’ll email everyone who ordered before anything else happens. Merch ordered in the same cart is printed and shipped separately on its normal schedule, so you won’t wait on that.

Why this record matters
Shifty took the band from the Los Angeles rap-rock underground to a worldwide number one with “Butterfly” in 2001. Two decades and a lot of hard years later, Shifty was still writing and still touring, the last shows were in early 2024. Flirting With Disaster is where that story stops: three songs, no filler, recorded by a band that didn’t know it was making its last record. Putting it on vinyl was the plan from the start; a hundred copies is what we could press as a small label, and we’d rather it be rare than watered down.

Crazy Town X Vinyl FAQ
When will my record ship?
Ships December 10, 2026. The pressing plant delivers to KrushKill Records on December 9 and pre-orders go out the following day with tracking. If the plant date changes, you’ll get an email first.
Is it really limited to 100?
Yes. 100 copies were pressed on red vinyl, and the store’s stock is capped at 100 so it can’t oversell. There is no second pressing planned.
What size and speed is the record?
It’s a 7″ record with two tracks on Side A and one on Side B, pressed on translucent red vinyl. It plays on any standard turntable that handles 7″ singles.
Is this the last Crazy Town X album?
Yes. Flirting With Disaster is the final Crazy Town X release, the last recording Shifty Shellshock made before he passed in June 2024, and the only Crazy Town X vinyl ever pressed.
Can I buy it anywhere else?
No. The Crazy Town X vinyl is exclusive to krushkillrecords.com, the label’s own store. It isn’t on Amazon, Discogs sellers or any other shop unless someone resells their copy.
What if I order a shirt at the same time?
Merch is printed to order and ships on its own within a few business days. The vinyl ships December 10, 2026. You’ll get separate tracking emails for each.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, the vinyl ships tracked from the USA to most countries. Shipping is calculated at checkout by destination.
